چکیده

Abstract Purpose The manipulation of soil microbiota can involve changes in microbial diversity and activities, it is carried out for practical purposes. be modified by the inoculation beneficial microorganisms into or agricultural management practices. This study provides information on influence introducing indigenous microbiota. aim this was to determine how biocontrol plant growth promoting agents Trichoderma asperellum Bacillus subtilis their consortium affect without placing emphasis as a determinant change. Methods Experimental samples were treated with B. T. consortium. shift number bacterial fungal CFUs determined. Biolog EcoPlate assay demonstrated metabolic activity soil. concentration genus, Firmicutes, Gammaproteobacteria Acidobacteria DNA determined molecular methods. A correlation analysis performed between microbiological data. Results Soil treatment , pathogenic fungus Botrytis cinerea changed amplified fragments certain taxa. showed that added did not significantly community Shannon-Wiener biodiversity index but change utilization carbohydrates, complex carbon compounds organic phosphorus compounds. Conclusion Introduced survive during 60-day experiment composition functionality populations. Whereas are inhibitors could further positively specific crops.

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR): Their potential as antagonists and biocontrol agents

Bacteria that colonize plant roots and promote plant growth are referred to as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). PGPR are highly diverse and in this review we focus on rhizobacteria as biocontrol agents. Their effects can occur via local antagonism to soil-borne pathogens or by induction of systemic resistance against pathogens throughout the entire plant. Several substances produced...

Characterization of Novel Trichoderma asperellum Isolates to Select Effective Biocontrol Agents Against Tomato Fusarium Wilt

The use of novel isolates of Trichoderma with efficient antagonistic capacity against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (FOL) is a promising alternative strategy to pesticides for tomato wilt management. We evaluated the antagonistic activity of 30 isolates of T. asperellum against 4 different isolates of FOL. The production of extracellular cell wall degrading enzymes of the antagonistic i...

PLANT GROWTH PROMOTING AND PHYTOSTIMULATORY POTENTIAL OF Bacillus Subtilis AND Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens

Root colonizing bacteria that exert beneficial effects on plant growth have been defined as plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). The present study aimed to the production of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and siderophore in WR-W2 and MR-AI strains under in vitro condition. Synthesis of IAA and siderophore was checked in presence of different carbon sources in JNFb medium amended with L-tryp...

Effect of biocontrol strains of Trichoderma on plant growth, Pythium ultimum polulations, soil microbial communities and soil enzyme activities.

Five strains of Trichoderma with known biocontrol activities were assessed for their effect upon pea growth and their antagonistic activity against large Pythium ultimum inocula. The effect of Trichoderma inocula upon the indigenous soil microflora and soil enzyme activities in the presence and absence of Pythium is assessed. In the absence of Pythium, Trichoderma strain N47 significantly incre...
